What we are thankful for

I am thankful for knowing Laura who blogs here about the things she appreciates and is doing (which are FANTASTIC) in her life, and who every so often makes me stop and think about what I am thankful for and what I am doing to be appreciative of others in my life too.
Today I am happy that my parents are both alive and well and in their 80's living independently around the corner from me in a gorgeous spot called Ocean Shores village; I am also really happy that last night we had a really good race on Windsheer - thanks to Freddie, Rosie, Tony and Baz who are not only crew but also wonderful friends; and very thankful that tonight I get to go out on another yacht race - this time on Duchess Matilda with Mike and Daphne, thanks everyone - especially my Rob for making all that happen. Above all I am daily thankful that my sons and daughter and well and happy and going in the directions they have chosen for their lives.

My total new favourite incredibly interesting study

While at sea over the last 3 weeks I have had the opportunity to study an amazing organism, one to be truthful that I had never given much thought to in the past - moon jelly's rock - I will be adding to this in the future but for starters this link is pretty cool!

PDFs and paper plane

Many of you are aware that Adobe Reader is a
software program that has been installed in almost every
computer and is used to view and fill PDF forms. With Adobe
Reader, if the file is an interactive form, you may enter
data on the form and print the form with the data, but the
PDF file can not be saved locally. If the PDF file is a non
fill-in form, Adobe Reader has no way of entering data on
the form. The only solution to this up until now was to dish
out more than $500 to purchase the complete Adobe Acrobat
program in order to perform those tasks. But now with PDFill
PDF Editor you can do all these tasks at a fraction of the
cost. Furthermore, you can open PDF file, add commenting
annotations or draw shapes. The edited documents can then be
saved directly back to the original PDF file.
